Among various issues relating to bioethics, this course will especially focus on issues surrounding reproductive medicine and reproductive technology. We will make an attempt to gain an understanding of the reality of such ideas and ask ourselves about the future of our society and ways of life.
We will learn the reality of reproductive medicine and reproductive technology, and consider the understanding of people that underlies such ideas and policies. Through this process, we will uncover and reconsider values about life and people that exist inside our society and ourselves, and seek for an ideal state of society and ways to participate in forming such a society. You will submit several small reports too.

「生命倫理」の課題の中から、いわゆる「生殖医療」と「生殖技術」に関わる問題に焦点を合わせ、実状の把握に努めるとともに、今後のわたしたちの社会の在り方と自身の生き方を尋ねる。

「生殖医療」の実状や「生殖技術」の実態を学び、その根柢にある人間理解を検討する。この作業を通して、わたしたちの社会の内や自身の中にある「いのち」や「人間」についての価値観を掘り起こして問い直し、あるべき社会の姿とその社会形成への参与を模索する。筆記試験の他に、複数回の小レポート提出を課す。
We will learn the reality of reproductive medicine and reproductive technology, and consider the understanding of people that underlies such ideas and policies.
