【Course Objectives】

In this course, students will learn basic theories and concepts related to international finance. In addition, they will also deepen their understanding through learning about the significance of and the issues with the international financial system and markets in global economy and society.

【Course Contents】

This course will generally focus on the functions of international financial system and markets, introducing their organizational frameworks and historical backgrounds as well as relevant theory. In more detail, we will be particularly conscious of changes in the functions of nations, corporations and institutional investors , as well as finance/monetary policies effecting them, while touching upon subjects pertinent to the global economy such as global financial markets, financial and developmental aid, and coping with international financial crises.
