【Course Objectives】

Through looking at specific cases relating to the specialized three fields of strategic management, accounting & financial management, and human resource management, students will receive an introduction to business management.

【Course Contents】

In this course, students will learn about the three specialized fields of strategic management, accounting & financial management, and human resource management. In doing so, they will learn about business operations from both the sides of theory and reality, receiving an introduction to the study of business management via the lecture. To achieve this, three instructors will each give 4 lectures on their respective areas of specialization. In each field’s lectures, to start, business activities will be characterized from the point of view of the given field. Following this, students will learn the basics of the theory relevant to each field before learning about specific cases grounded in this theory to get a better picture of reality through the course materials. In addition, a short test will be conducted at the end of each field’s lectures for the sake of review.
It is worth noting that there will be three separate sections of this course, with each section learning the same material but in a different order. The individual in charge of grades will also differ between course sections. Consequently, once these individuals are determined, students must take the class of the person for which they had registered. Students must be sure to attend the first lecture, as concrete details regarding how the course will proceed will be explained.
