【Course Objectives】

This course is designed so that students will understand the basic ideas and methods in life science and grasp an overall vision of the ever-advancing science. They will also build the foundation on which to comprehend various issues involving modern life science.

【Course Contents】

This course will be given by instructors from the Department of Life Science, the College of Science, on the omnibus format. Each instructor will give a lecture related to their own area of research. This course does not aim to give students a broad and shallow knowledge of the field, but rather to give them an opportunity to understand a few specific topics. At the end of every class, students shall write a reaction paper or be given a short test for the assessment of their understanding.
