【Course Objectives】

The aims of this course are based on the description of A2 of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and determined as follows:
1. Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
2. Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
3. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

【Course Contents】

In this course students will learn comprehensively not only the basic grammatical knowledge of German but also linguistic performance (skills like speaking, listening, reading and writing), by cooperative learning with their classmates in pair work and group work. Moreover, to develop the pluricultural and plurilinguistic skills, they will gain more insight of social and cultural knowledge by contrasting with their native lands.
