【Course Objectives】

This course is targeted towards students taking the College of Arts Department of Letters Course in French Literature. As preparation for the study of specialized subjects starting in the second year, students learn basic French grammar and learn to apply the language.

【Course Contents】

Classes are held twice a week. One Japanese teacher is mostly in charge of teaching elementary grammar twice a week. In close coordination with the two “Introductory French” blocks offered in the Course in French Literature, classes advance so that grammar items and oral expression and reading comprehension practice are organically connected together.
