The objective of this course is for students to acquire advanced French proficiency from both practice with understanding context through listening comprehension and working to accurately read and comprehend details through intensive reading. This class also prepares students for various examinations, such as Futsuken, DELF and DALF.
Using news from France and the French-speaking sphere as course materials, students read editorials based on facts and historical circumstances. While working to investigate vocabulary and expressions according to the theme of each article and editorial, students listen to related articles using audio materials for listening comprehension to ensure that they can understand the articles even when consuming them by ear. At the same time, students practice developing and handling the basic grammar they learned at the intermediate level. Language exam preparation is also offered according to the student's wishes.

聞き取りによる文脈の流れを把握する訓練と，精読による内容を正確に読み取る作業の両面から，高度なフランス語運用能力の獲得を目指します。本授業では仏検，DELF，DALFなどの各試験の対策も行います。

フランスおよびフランス語圏のニュース素材を用いて，事実や歴史的経緯を踏まえた論説文を読みます。それぞれの記事・論説のテーマに応じた語彙や表現を調べる作業を行いながら，関連する文章が耳から入ってきても理解できるように音声素材を用いた聞き取りも行います。合わせて，中級までに学習した基礎文法を発展的に使いこなす練習を行います。また学生の希望に応じて語学試験対策も行います。
