Intended for those who have a very basic knowledge about Japanese (basic conjugations of verbs and adjectives and a vocabulary of 500 words). The goal of J2 course is to acquire more advanced Japanese communication skills than those at J1, including the composition of complex sentences using conjunctions and conjunctive particles and to increase vocabulary to 1,000 words. And the goal of Total Skills class is to correctly use sentence forms and vocabulary learned in Grammar 2. To acquire additional skills for handling unknown vocabulary or sentence forms.
Students are assumed to have properly reviewed the sentence forms and vocabulary learned in Grammar 2.

非常(ひじょう)に基本的(きほんてき)な日本語(にほんご)（動詞(どうし)や形容詞(けいようし)の基本的(きほんてき)活用(かつよう),語彙(ごい)５００）を身(み)につけている者(もの)を対象(たいしょう)とする。Ｊ２コース全体(ぜんたい)の目標(もくひょう)は,接続語(せつぞくご)や接続(せつぞく)助詞(じょし)を用(もち)いた複文(ふくぶん)の作成(さくせい)を含(ふく)む,Ｊ１よりやや進(すす)んだ日本語(にほんご)能力(のうりょく)を身(み)につけ,日常(にちじょう)生活(せいかつ)に必要(ひつよう)な簡単(かんたん)な会話(かいわ)や自分(じぶん)の意見(いけん)伝達(でんたつ)が日本語(にほんご)でできるようにすること,語彙数(ごいすう)を1,000に増(ふ)やすことである。その中(なか)で,総合(そうごう)スキルの目標(もくひょう)は,文法(ぶんぽう)２で習(なら)った文型(ぶんけい)や語彙(ごい)を正確(せいかく)に運用(うんよう)できるようになること,未習(みしゅう)の語彙(ごい)や文型(ぶんけい)があっても,対応(たいおう)できるスキルを身(み)につけることである。

学生(がくせい)が文法(ぶんぽう)２で習(なら)った文型(ぶんけい)や語彙(ごい)をきちんと復習(ふくしゅう)していることを前提(ぜんてい)として授業(じゅぎょう)を進(すす)める。
