This course aims to comprehensively improve Chinese language skills and help students acquire the basic skills necessary for communication in Chinese.
In this course, students will use the textbook to learn each lesson over the course of two class sessions. During listening/conversation sessions, we will apply what was in the textbook and expand on the expressions, focusing on pronunciation and practicing speaking using basic grammar. During grammar commentary sessions, we will cultivate the skills needed to take the proficiency test by increasing vocabulary while focusing on reading comprehension. To acquire correct pronunciation, students will repeatedly practice reading the text aloud in each class. Students will also develop the ability to express an opinion through pair and group work.

テキストを使用し、二回の授業で一課を学ぶ。リスニング・会話の回ではテキストの内容を応用し、表現の幅を広げる。発音に重点を置き、基礎的文法を使った会話練習を行う。文法解説の回では読解を中心に語彙を増やしながら検定試験に対応できる力を養う。毎回の授業で受講生によるテキストの音読を行い、正しい発音を繰り返し練習し身につける。ペアワーク・グループワークを通じて自分の意見を表現する力を養う。
