Moving on from “Intermediate Chinese 1,” comprehensively improve the four Chinese language skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, that are appropriate for the intermediate level. The aim is to further expand the “range of expression” by establishing knowledge of vocabulary and grammar at the level of HSK Level 4 and the “Test of Chinese Proficiency” Grade 3 and higher, while connecting them to improving communication skills.
In class, in parallel with the point commentary, text translation and practice questions, remain conscious of always returning to the previously learned vocabulary and grammatical items of the “oral expressions,” and repeat “pattern practice”.
In addition, to train the “imagination” to speak naturally, incorporate training that uses visual aids.
We will also study society and culture of the Chinese-speakingsphere.

「中国語中級１」に引き続き，中級レベルにふさわしい中国語の４技能（話す・聞く・読む・書く）を総合的に養成する。HSK４級・中国語検定試験３級以上の語彙や文法の知識を定着させ，それらをコミュニケーション能力向上につなげ，さらなる「表現の幅」の拡充を目指す。

授業ではポイントの解説や本文翻訳・練習問題と並行して，学習した語彙や文法事項を「口頭表現」に還元することを意識したパターンプラクティスを繰り返す。
また，自然な発話をするための「発想力」を鍛錬すべく，視覚教材を用いたトレーニングも取り入れる。随時，中国語圏の社会や文化についても触れる。

予習としては各課の新出単語や文法ポイントを整理したうえで，例文や本文を日本語に訳出しておくこと。また，全ての中国語文は十分な声量と正確な発音で音読できるよう，音源を聞き込み，暗唱してしまうくらい読み込んできてほしい。
復習は習った単語やポイント表現を使って，本文の内容などを改めて中国語で表現（復元）できるか，音読や即時通訳，作文を通してチェックすること。
