Chinese language training will be conducted in Taipei City, Taiwan. The course will last for about three weeks during the summer vacation. The goal is to improve proficiency in a short period of time through classroom learning and local daily life.
On-site training will take place over about three weeks at the National Taiwan Normal University Mandarin Training Center (MTC), in Taipei City. After arriving in Taipei, students will take a Placement Test and study with students from a variety of countries in a small class who are at a similar level.
The classes will be conducted all in Chinese by native teachers using Chinese language teaching materials designed for short-term study for foreigners. The class seeks an active and positive approach by always answering questions and raising your own questions. To take this training program, attend orientation on late in August or early in September. Check the details for the orientation on R Guide.
In addition, students should attend pre-training.

春休み中の約3週間を使って，台湾（台北市）で中国語研修を行う。教室での学習と現地での日常の生活を通じて，短期間に集中的に運用能力を高めることを目標としている。

現地での研修は，台北市の国立台湾師範大学国語教学中心（MTC）で約３週間にわたって行われる。現地到着後にレベルチェックテストを受け自分に適した少人数クラスで，様々な国の学生とともに学習する。
授業はネイティブ教員が，短期学習班の外国人向け中国語教材を用い，すべて中国語によって行う。たえず質問に答え，自分からも質問するという，能動的に取り組む姿勢を求める授業になる。
履修にあたっては８月下旬から９月上旬に開催予定の説明会に参加すること。説明会の時間など詳細はR Guideで確認すること。 また事前研修は全回必ず出席すること。

・MTCで学ぶのは，本学の中国語科目で学んでいるのと同じ中国語（台湾では國語と呼ぶ）である。台湾では簡体字は用いられず，教科書も繁体字が使用されている。簡体字と繁体字両方を学ぶことで，はじめて世界中の中国語圏どこでも対応できる運用能力を身につけることができる。日本では繁体字を学ぶ機会がなかなか得られないため，この研修はその意味でも有意義な学習機会となるだろう。
母語話者は履修してはならない。単位修得できないため注意すること。
