For students who completed intermediate level or higher Korean or students with similar levels of proficiency, the goal of the class is to increase report writing and presentation skills.
Topic: Study of Rikkyo University Student, Yoon Dong-ju: Korea and Japan History and Transnational Humanities through literature and film
Assignment: Recite, interpret, and write a review of Yoon's poetry; read or view an article, biography, movie/documentary, musical, etc., of Yoon's life, write a report, and present or make a video
Class: Debates after introducing the videos and presentations. Practice with sentence patterns and use of words. Practice with correct pronunciation, intonation, listening, and reading, and composition.
