This course focuses on English vocabulary found in academic contexts. Each week we will practice words commonly used across disciplines to describe, analyse and/or evaluate ideas and data. Most lessons will include readings on related topics, with discussion and short written responses. We will also explore features of academic vocabulary, discuss learning strategies and consider the nature(s) and place of English in academia.
※Please refer to Japanese Page for details including evaluations, textbooks and others.
