Students will build fundamental skills in English for work and their career in an international context.
In this class students will build fundamental skills, in English, for international workplaces and building an international career. Students will learn skills, for international contexts, in: career research and planning; writing a CV (resume); job interviewing; and professional networking, teamwork, and intercultural effectiveness skills. Students will be required to complete some reading and other preparation as necessary to prepare for class. The course will be taught in a student-centered, flexible way, and will be adapted to students' particular learning needs.
