This course is designed to help students gain an image of working for companies abroad and learn what skills are necessary to be successful in a global society by participating in group office tours and short term work experience programs provided by the Center for Global Human Resource Development. Students who successfully complete this course should be ready for taking higher level courses such as “Overseas Internship Program II” in the following semester or later.
Preparation: setting goals
Pre-departure training: gain understanding of the program, conduct research on related industries,
learn business manners, etc.
Internship program (five days): visit companies, attend workshops, participate in lectures by the representatives of the global companies, interact with them, give presentations.
Post-training session: self-assessment, presentation, report writing

本科目は、インターンシップや学外活動等の実践的な学びを中心に構成する授業である。
この科目は、グローバル教育センターが提供する企業見学・就業体験プログラムに短期かつ団体で参加することで、海外の企業で働くイメージを持ち、グローバル社会で活躍するために必要な能力が何かを知る機会とする。履修後は、次学期以降の「海外インターンシップ2」などの上位レベルの海外渡航プログラムを受講することができるようになる。
