The goal of this course is to understand the foundation and various aspects of tourism studies, and to achieve the basic level of knowledge for academic studies in the College of Tourism.
Students are expected to learn about the basic theories on tourism studies, the keywords used in practical and academic fields of tourism, the typical examples of tourism phenomena, and so on.

観光学の基礎と多面性を理論と具体例から理解し，観光学部での専門的な学びの土台を作る。
The goal of this course is to understand the foundation and various aspects of tourism studies, and to achieve the basic level of knowledge for academic studies in the College of Tourism.
観光学に関する基礎的な理論，観光の現場や学術において使われるキーワード，典型的な観光現象などについて学ぶ。
Students are expected to learn about the basic theories on tourism studies, the keywords used in practical and academic fields of tourism, the typical examples of tourism phenomena, and so on.
