You will gain the basic knowledge necessary to understand human behavior and psychology, and gain an understanding of tourism development and service provision situations from a behavioral and psychological perspective, based on real cases.
In the first half of the course, I will introduce basic information related to tourism behavior and psychology, as well as the basic theories of nonverbal communication and service that are essential to understanding behavior and psychology in a tourism or service setting, and I plan to give further lectures on examples of the application of that information and the characteristics of tourist travel behavior.
Lectures will be given using lecture materials and visual course materials. During class, students may be asked questions or may be asked to write and submit reaction papers.

人びとの行動・心理を理解するうえで必要とされる基礎的な知識を習得し，観光現象やサービス提供場面における行動論的・心理学的な見方を，実例に即して理解する。
You will gain the basic knowledge necessary to understand human behavior and psychology, and gain an understanding of tourism development and service provision situations from a behavioral and psychological perspective, based on real cases.
前半に観光行動や心理に関する基礎的な内容について紹介した後，観光やサービス場面における行動・心理の理解に欠かせないノンバーバル・コミュニケーションやサービスの基礎理論，さらにはそれらの知見の応用事例や観光回遊行動の特性等について講述する予定である。
講義は講義資料と視覚教材を使用しつつ進める。講義中に質問したり，リアクションペーパーの作成・提出を求めることがある。
