【Course Objectives】

We use many services in the course of our daily lives, such as riding a train, eating at a restaurant, dropping clothing off at the dry cleaners, staying at a hotel, getting a haircut at a salon, learning at a school, going to a hospital, etc. The aim of this course is to understand how such services are created, used, and evaluated, what kind of mechanisms companies are creating and arranging in order to provide service that satisfies the customer, the characteristics of familiar services, and basic topics used in business.

【Course Contents】

In this course, we will focus on themes such as “What is good service?” “How can I provide service that satisfies the customer?” and “How can I get customer loyalty?” We will cover familiar case studies to learn the basic perspective and issues of service management.
