【Course Objectives】

With the goal of developing "human resources" who will play key roles as managers in the travel and tourism industry in the future, this course aims to provide participants with an understanding of the management strategies, functional strategies, current status and issues, responses to environmental changes, and future prospects of the travel industry and tourism-related businesses. The participants will learn firsthand about the "fun” and “passion" of business through direct messages from executives/core personnel who are involved in real businesses. At the same time, the course will also present the view of the real world of work and society, so that participants will be able to acquire the essential knowledge and thinking required for job hunting and as a member of society in the future.

【Course Contents】

This course will analyze the changes in the market environment of the travel and tourism industry and the specific Management strategies, Financial strategies, HR strategies, Brand strategies, and Tourism-related business management of travel agencies in response to these changes.
In the first half of the course, the president&CEO of “JTB Corp.”, Japan's largest travel agency, as well as other executives and business managers will provide direct explanations based on specific, real-life examples, and examine issues related to each field, responses to changes in the environment, and future prospects from a management perspective. The last half of the course is called "Active Presidents Live," and guest lecturers, such as current presidents and executives, are invited to talk about corporate strategies and corporate management in tourism-related businesses, as well as to explore the personal magnetism of the presidents and executives themselves, mainly through question-and-answer sessions.
If you have taken the Travel Industry course, it is easier to deepen your understanding.
