This Internship is a program to learn the practical, on-site tourism business and community activity. Through work experience in companies related to tourism, such as travel agency, hotels, transportation (airline, railway etc.), and seeing various efforts at local sites being created around the country, we aim to provide students with the opportunity to acquire “on-site power” in regions and companies supporting tourism.
This internship program consists of preliminary study program, retrospective review and summary of results, focusing on practical training in companies and regions during the 3rd year summer vacation period. The spring semester class (Internship in Tourism A) prepares students for practical training during the summer vacation, following on from company and industry research, and area studies, learning the manners and attitudes that should be acquired entering the bussines person.

観光インターンシップは，観光ビジネスや地域づくりの現場で実践的に学ぶプログラムです。旅行・ホテル・交通（航空・鉄道等）など，観光ビジネスを担う企業での就業体験や，全国各地の地域づくりの現場で様々な取り組みを体験し，観光を支える企業や地域の“現場力”を肌で感じることを大きなねらいとしています。

観光インターンシップは，３年次の夏休みに行われる企業や地域での実習を中心として，事前の準備学習，事後のふりかえりと成果のまとめからなっています。春学期の観光インターンシップAでは，企業・業界研究や地域研究，社会人として身につけておくべきマナーや心構えの修得など，十分に準備をした上で夏休みの実習に臨みます。
［実習先］観光ビジネスに従事する企業（旅行・宿泊・交通等），観光・地域振興に取り組む自治体・NPO・観光協会等

本科目は、インターンシップや学外活動等の実践的な学びを中心に構成する授業である。
