By understanding the behavior and psychology of tourists and service providers, as well as studying the psychological and behavioral perspectives we should heed in promoting the destination planning from the standpoint of tourists, students will gain perspectives to understand tourism phenomena, and cultivate sensitivity.
Based on what the instructor covered in “Human Behavior in Tourism”, we plan to examine the role and importance of sensibility for the understanding of sightseeing phenomena, from the perspective of planning theory".
Lectures will be given using lecture materials and visual course materials. During class, students may be asked questions or may be asked to write and submit reaction papers.

観光者・サービス提供者の行動・心理を理解するうえで，また観光者の立場からみた観光地づくりを進めるうえで理解しておくべき心理学的・行動論的な見方を実例に即して学ぶことを通して，現代社会における観光現象の役割や意義を理解するための視点を習得し，そのための感性を養う。

担当者による「観光行動論」の内容をふまえ，よりソフト面での計画論的な視点について，観光現象を理解するための感性の役割と重要性にふれつつ講述する予定である。
講義は講義資料と視覚教材を使用しつつ進める。講義中に質問したり，リアクションペーパーの作成・提出を求めることがある。
