Through understanding concepts related to landscapes in tourist and other regions, students will gain basic knowledge about approaches to evaluating their value, as well as their conservation and utilization. At the same time, students will study research issues and methods.
Students will develop a perspective to understand tourist sites from the point of view of landscape, read basic literature related to the theory of landscape, and gain basic knowledge relating to their evaluation and conservation. At the same time, students will deepen their understanding through discussion and consider further issues.

観光地を始めとする地域の風景・景観・ランドスケープについて，その概念について理解することに始まり，それらの価値の評価の考え方，さらにはその保全・活用のあり方に関して，基礎的な知識を得るとともに研究の課題や方法について学ぶ。
Through understanding concepts related to landscapes in tourist and other regions, students will gain basic knowledge about approaches to evaluating their value, as well as their conservation and utilization. At the same time, students will study research issues and methods.
観光地を風景や景観およびランドスケープという観点から捉える視点を持って，風景や景観論に関連する基本的な文献を講読し，風景・景観の評価や保全に関する基礎的な知識を得るとともに，議論を通してその理解を深めさらなる課題について考察する。
