Students will learn the importance of geography in tourism through systematic and comprehensive methods. A special emphasis will be placed on urban tourism, and we will think about the significance of urban tourism.
This class will focus on the introduction of academic papers related to urban tourism by students. Through this process, students will gain basic academic skills, such as how to read literature, how to summarize items in an outline, oral presentation and discussion skills, etc. This class is given in seminar style, and students will be required to participate subjectively in discussions.

観光における地理学の重要性を体系的かつ包括的な方法で学習する。特に，都市観光に重点を置き，都市観光の意義を考える。
Students will learn the importance of geography in tourism through systematic and comprehensive methods. A special emphasis will be placed on urban tourism, and we will think about the significance of urban tourism.
この授業は，学生による都市観光に関する論文紹介を中心とする。この過程で，文献の読み方，レジュメのまとめ方，口頭発表やディスカッションの仕方等をはじめ，基本的なアカデミック・スキルを習得する。この授業は演習形式であり，学生が主体的にディスカッションに参加することを求める。
This class will focus on the introduction of academic papers related to urban tourism by students.
