This course aims to learn about the relationship between environmental issues and tourism activities and the economy from an economic perspective. Students will acquire basic knowledge of economics and use it to analyze environmental issues and tourism activities to understand the role of the tourism industry. In addition, fieldwork will be conducted in parallel with acquiring basic knowledge.
This course will involve reading a wide range of literature and materials on environmental issues and tourism activities and economics, as well as experiential learning. Students will read texts and materials, give periodic presentations, and discuss their topics. Fieldwork, camps, and other activities will be decided by discussion among students.

環境問題や観光活動と経済の関わりについて、経済学の視点から学ぶことを目的とする。経済学の基礎的な知識を身につけ、それをもとに環境問題や観光活動を分析し観光産業の役割を理解する。さらに、基礎的知識の習得と並行し、フィールドワーク等も行なう。
This course aims to learn about the relationship between environmental issues and tourism activities and the economy from an economic perspective. この講義では環境問題や観光活動と経済学の研究に参考となる幅広い領域の文献・資料の講読、および体験型学習を行う。テキストや資料を読み、定期的な発表を行ない、学生自身が取り上げた議題についてディスカッションする。フィールドワークや合宿やその他の活動は、学生同士で話し合い活動内容を決める。
This course will involve reading a wide range of literature and materials on environmental issues and tourism activities and economics, as well as experiential learning.
