Students will choose a theme based on their interests with regard to urban tourism and the structure of tourist sites, and through fieldwork, students will use the knowledge they have already studied for practical research.
Guidance will be provided through these regular presentations. Individual instruction will be given regarding how to proceed with research and academic paper writing, depending on their progress. Students will learn how to read the literature for paper writing, and how to make use of computers and software. Students will develop and strengthen their ability not only to write, but also to think about things spatially and express them in maps.

都市観光と観光地域の構造について、各自の関心を持つテーマを決定し、フィールドワークを通じて、今まで学習した知識を実践的な研究に活用することである。
Students will choose a theme based on their interests with regard to urban tourism and the structure of tourist sites, and through fieldwork, students will use the knowledge they have already studied for practical research.
定期的な発表を通じて指導する。研究の進め方、論文の作成に関しては、それぞれの進み具合に応じて個別に指導を行う。論文作成においての文献の講読、パソコン・ソフトの運用を学習する。文章のみならず、空間的に物事を考え、地図で表現する能力を育成・強化する。
