The purpose of this course is for students to understand the basic concepts and research methods of geography through various research examples.
Natural environments and human activities exist in a complex relationship within a region. In this course, students learn about the establishment and mechanisms of regions, focusing especially on that relationship. To do that, the course covers various research cases in geography, diverse perspectives, methods of approach, and techniques of expression, etc.

様々な研究例を通して地理学の基本概念と研究方法を理解する。
The purpose of this course is for students to understand the basic concepts and research methods of geography through various research examples.
地域は自然環境や人間活動などが複雑に関連して成り立っている。本講義ではそうした関連性に着目して地域の成り立ちや仕組みを学ぶ。その際，地理学の様々な研究事例を取り上げることで，多様な視点やアプローチの方法，表現手法なども学ぶ。
