This course aims for students to learn the basic concepts and techniques of sociology required to study tourism and culture.
With culture, self, gender, ethnicity, media, city, nation, globalization, and mobility, etc., as keywords, this course considers the various problems of modern society from a sociological viewpoint and familiarizes students with the sociological way of thinking.

観光や文化について学ぶために必要な社会学の基礎的な概念や手法を習得する。
This course aims for students to learn the basic concepts and techniques of sociology required to study tourism and culture.
文化、自己、ジェンダー、エスニシティ、メディア、都市、国家、グローバル化、移動などをキーワードに、社会学の観点から現代社会の諸問題について考察し、社会学的思考に親しむ。
