【Course Objectives】

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1)Reinterpret tourism and society through the framework of mobility to understand that society has been built on and changed by mobile bodies, things, capital, information and technologies.
2)Understand that reducing global inequality and building a sustainable society are personal issues that directly affect their lives.

【Course Contents】

In this course, lectures explain the perspective of the sociology of mobility and examine urgent issues that face global society. In group work and presentations, students research and analyse existing initiatives that address tourism- and mobility-related problems such as environmental destruction and economic inequality.
