Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1) Deepen knowledge of existing initiatives that seek to create a more diverse and sustainable society.
2) Develop a multidimensional perspective to effectively explore possibilities for social connection and cooperation.
3) Acquire skills to write a solid research plan about a concrete topic related to diversity and tourism/ migration.
In this course, students select a concrete research topic of interest and pose an academically and socially meaningful research question. They learn the basics of research methods and ethics, and write a logical and convincing research plan. Field trips provide opportunities to apply classroom knowledge and further stimulate understanding and interest.

多様性が尊重される持続可能な社会を作るための取り組みについて知識を深め、社会的なつながりや協力関係を模索するために必要な多角的な視点を養う。多様性と観光・移動に関する具体的な課題を調査するため、しっかりした計画書を書くスキルを身につける。

関心のある具体的な調査トピックを選び、学術的、社会的意義のある問いを立てる。調査方法と研究倫理の基礎を学び、整合性と説得力のある調査計画書を書く。学外学習では座学で学んだ知識を応用し、理解と関心を深める。
