The 4th year seminars will be based on individually determined themes relating to the graduation thesis. This year’s theme is the implementation of field surveys based on tourism studies and related theories.
Lectures will be given on themes related to regional development through tourism and along with reports and reading from participants. Students taking this seminar are required to write a graduation thesis.

４年次の演習は、各自が設定したテーマに基づき、卒業論文と関連づけて研究をすすめる。今年度のテーマは、観光学の研究理論とそれに基づく現地調査の実践である。
The 4th year seminars will be based on individually determined themes relating to the graduation thesis. This year’s theme is the implementation of field surveys based on tourism studies and related theories.
本演習では各自が設定したテーマを講義、講読と参加者による報告を交えて探究する。この演習の履修者には、卒業論文の執筆を義務づける。
Lectures will be given on themes related to regional development through tourism and along with reports and reading from participants. Students taking this seminar are required to write a graduation thesis.

履修者ごとに、関心のあるテーマに基づく論文執筆のための資料収集、プレゼン、レポート作成を重ねることで、問題意識を深める。並行して講読を行い、入学以来の学びから観光学の理論と現地調査の手法を復習する。社会連携活動や合宿などの準備と遂行について、主体的かつ積極的な関与が求められる。
