To learn basic knowledge and skills to conduct experimental research in developmental psychology, and to conceptualize one's own research interests.
In an every-week seminar, several presenters will be pre-selected from students. The presenters prepare a brief presentation about findings of previous empirical studies, in accordance with their research interest. The other students must participate in a discussion about the presented results to promote their understanding of the previous findings. All students are required to explore and determine their research topics via the seminars. Students are also required to submit a term paper that finalizes their research topics.

実験的な手法による発達心理学研究を実施するために必要な、基礎的な知識や技術を習得する。また、自身の研究上の関心を明確にする。

毎回発表担当者を決め、自身の興味・関心に基づき、先行研究の内容について発表してもらう。
発表担当者の発表に対して、履修者全員で質疑応答を行い、発表内容への理解を深める。
ゼミでの発表・討論を通して自身の研究テーマを模索し、期末レポートの作成を通して、研究テーマの絞り込みを行う。
