The aim of this class can be largely divided into two goals. First, to learn about clinical practice (development support, education consultation) in the field. Second, to learn how to proceed with your senior thesis through hands-on experience.
To achieve the goals of this class, we will do 1) seminar classes (primarily on how to proceed with senior thesis), 2) consultation activities (practice with development support and education consultation), 3) trips with the seminar group (two during the year: summer and spring), and 4) dispatch to the field (fall semester: only those who want to). The class will also introduce the various research projects that are currently in progress.

授業の目標は大きく分けて２つである。１つは現場での臨床実践（発達支援・教育相談）について学ぶ。もう１つは卒業研究の進め方を体験的に学ぶ。

授業の目標を達成するために，①演習授業（主に卒業研究の進め方），②相談活動（発達支援・教育相談の実践），③ゼミ合宿（年２回：夏季と春季），④現場派遣（秋学期：希望者のみ）を行う。また，現在進めているさまざまな研究プロジェクトについても紹介する。

卒業研究を進めるために，以下の提出物を求める。その作成は授業時間外に各自で行う。すなわち，①研究概要作成，②研究構想発表，③研究計画発表（夏季ゼミ合宿時），④先行研究調査，⑤序論（問題と目的）提出，⑥倫理申請書作成，⑦研究デザイン発表（春季ゼミ合宿時）である。秋学期は④，⑤，⑥，⑦を行う。
提出物については，合格水準に達するまで，授業担当者が添削指導を行うので，必要な回数の加筆修正を求める。

児童相談所や家庭裁判所，教育相談室，および療育施設に進路をとる人，および臨床系大学院進学志望者には，得ることが多い演習である。
授業期間の毎週土曜日の１～３限（午前枠と午後枠）に，サービスラーニングとして研究相談グループを運営している。演習での座学を具体的な実践につなげるかけがえのない実践活動であり，これを卒業研究の取り組みにすることができる。
