Learning about study areas of associated fields like evidence based clinical psychology (behavioral analysis, cognitive behavioral theory) in particular related to parents and their children, as well as narrowing it to personal topics of interest.
Students learn about evidence based clinical psychology (mainly psychotherapy for parents and their children) through research papers and literature in Japanese, study research problems, fundamental theories, practical methods and research methods of clinical psychology. All students read related literature, and present a summary and they promote their understanding their understanding of it through discussion.

行動分析や認知行動療法を中心としたエビデンスベースドの臨床心理学について、特に子どもや親を中心とした心理療法についての知識を習得する。さらに、自らの研究テーマについて、考えていく。

子どもや親を中心としたエビデンスベースドの臨床心理学についての国内の研究論文・文献を講読し、研究課題、基礎理論、実践方法や研究手法についての知識を身につける。各自で、文献や書籍を読み、プレゼンテーションとディスカッションにて知識を深める。

国内研究論文の講読や発表にあたって，講義外の時間に，論文の講読や発表資料の作成などを行うといった予習が必要となります。自らの発表後は、ディスカッションから得られた知識や考えを整理したり、研究計画に活かすための復習が必要となります。
