【Course Objectives】

Clinical psychology is a discipline in which worries and problems of the patients are assessed and given direction, and specialized support is put into practice. The goal of this course is to explain the structure of clinical psychology, as well as develop understanding of theories typical to it.

【Course Contents】

Students learn about typical theories and structure of the ways to approach and understand psychological problems and the ways people support the development of their mental health (or if they become unable to support it). In the first half, they are introduced to typical theories and techniques of psychotherapy. In the middle part, they learn about types and methods of assessing problems in clinical psychology, and case formulation based on those. In the second half, they are introduced to approaches in clinical psychology through case reports.
