Understanding recent research trends on high-level cognitive processing, such as humans’ ability to recall scenes from nature, language comprehension, problem solving, judgement and decision making, in related fields from an interdisciplinary point of view.
Cognitive psychology focuses on exploring the mechanism of human awareness and its “wonder.” It is a core approach in modern psychology, resulting in significant progress in research on human cognitive processes and knowledge structures. This course mainly focuses on high-level cognitive processes (memory, language, and thought processes). However, it is not limited by a narrow framework, but rather actively introduces research in related fields like psychophysiology, clinical psychology, information behavior psychology, social psychology, and consumer behavior psychology.

人間が外界の事象を記憶し，言語を理解し，問題解決や，判断と意思決定を行う一連の「高次認知過程」について，近接領域にまたがった学際的観点から近年の研究動向を理解する｡
Understanding recent research trends on high-level cognitive processing, such as humans’ ability to recall scenes from nature, language comprehension, problem solving, judgement and decision making, in related fields from an interdisciplinary point of view.
認知心理学は，人間の認識のしくみとその「不思議さ」を探求する。認知心理学は現代心理学における中心的なアプローチであり，人間の認識過程と知識構造について研究が進められている｡ 本講義では, 特に高次認知過程（記憶，言語，思考など）に焦点を当てる｡ また， 狭い枠組みにとらわれず，生理心理学，臨床心理学，情報行動心理学，社会心理学，消費者行動心理学など近接領域にまたがった研究を積極的に紹介する｡
