Students taking this course will learn the impact of social and societal environments in human behaviors.
Human-beings do not think and behave in a social vacuum. They are strongly influenced by their social and societal surroundings, but hardly recognize the influence. This ignorance sometimes causes a social discrimination. During this course, students will learn ideas regarding the origin of social nature of human beings. Based on the ideas, students also will learn theories and empirical evidences regarding social influences on judgments, social and societal influences on well-being, and impacts of family socio-economical status on educational and vocational attainment.

ヒトの心理と行動における社会的影響を、個体、集団、マクロ社会構造の３つのレベルから理解する。
Students taking this course will learn the impact of social and societal environments in human behaviors.
ヒトの態度や行動は、社会的な環境の制約を受け、また社会的環境への適応として生じます。そのため、ヒトの思考や行動は、社会的環境から強い影響を受けています。こうした影響力を自覚するのは困難であり、それが差別、偏見をはじめとする社会問題の原因ともなっています。この授業では、ヒトが社会的環境の影響を受けやすい理由をヒトの生物としての進化の歴史から考えるアイディアを紹介した後、集団からの影響と、出身世帯の社会経済的地位というソシエタルな環境の影響について紹介します。
具体的なキーワードは、以下の通りです。社会性によるヒトの進化、集団の同調的影響力、well-beingへの社会的影響、社会関係ネットワークへのソシエタルな要因の影響、教育・職業的達成の階層・地域差。

この授業は、公認心理師資格における「社会・集団・家族心理学」に含まれる内容のうち、以下を３単元すべてを含み、公認心理師資格取得に必要な単位として認定されます。
①対人関係並びに集団における人の意識及び行動についての心の過程
②人の態度及び行動
③家族、集団及び文化が個人に及ぼす影響
ただし、臨床的な意味での家族心理学的な内容は含みません。この授業で取り上げられる家庭環境の影響は、主として学業や認知的発達に対する影響と、その階層差、地域差となります。
なお、シラバスはあくまでも計画です。参加者には積極的に質問等のかたちで授業に参加してもらいたいと思っていますし、学生と議論することで、シラバスの内容すべてを紹介することができないとしても、やむをえないと考えています。
レポートについては剽窃に厳しくあたりますので、その点について理解しておいてください。剽窃は本質的に曖昧ですので、認定は石黒が行い、異議は認めません。
