The goal of this class is to obtain practical skills for conducting social research based on statistical processes from the point of view of psychology, including planning, conducting, analyzing data, and writing a report.
In psychology, empirical studies of the work of a human mind, based on quantitative and qualitative data, are very important. The goal of this class is to obtain practical skills for conducting social research based on statistical processes, including planning, conducting, analyzing data, and writing a report. Depending on the interests of students, this class will arrange survey tasks about psychological problems and topics of modern society, and students will conduct the statistical survey in groups using actual questionnaires or Web surveys. They will summarize the results of analyzing the data they have gathered and make observations about the results. Then they will write a report and make a presentation.

心理学的な視点から､ 統計的な手続きに基づいた社会調査を行うために､ 調査の企画から実施､ データ分析・報告書作成までの実践スキルを習得することを目標とします｡

心理学においては､ 人々の心のはたらきについての量的・質的データに基づいた実証的検討が必要とされます｡ この科目では､ 統計的な手続きに基づいた社会調査を行うために､ 調査の企画から実施､ データ分析・報告書作成までの実践スキルを習得することを目的とします｡ 受講生の関心に基づき､ 現代社会における心理学的な問題・トピックを対象にした調査課題を設定し､ 実際に質問紙やWeb調査を用いた統計的な調査をグループワークによって実施します｡ 調査によって得られたデータは統計的な分析を行った結果としてまとめ､ 結果に対して考察を行います｡ 以上の内容をレポートにまとめ､ 報告してもらいます｡
