By watching multiple films, you can learn the time, space, and expression of the movie.
Watch movies of various genres.Some of his film contains violent scenes and sexual scenes.
If you are not comfortable violence and sexual scenes, do not participate in class.
In addition to class hours, you have to watch several films at the movie theater, and write critics and discuss about them.
It is difficult to get grade if you are absent from class even once.

複数の映画を見ることで、映画ならではの時間や空間、表現方法を学ぶ。
By watching multiple films, you can learn the time, space, and expression of the movie.
時代やジャンル、国籍を超えて様々な映画を見ます。殺人などの暴力描写や性的描写を含む映画も取り上げる場合があるので、そうした描写が苦手な学生は受講を避けてください。また授業内で見せる映画の他に、最低でも１～２本映画館で上映している映画をあらかじめ授業外で見てもらい、それについてレポートを書いてもらったり、話し合いをします。単に映画を見て単位がとれると思ったら、大間違いです。専門的な知識は全く必要ではありませんが、積極的な発言が求められます。ほぼ毎回リアクション・ペイパーや小レポートを課します。学生による発表も行います。四半期で7回のみなので、1日でも欠席すると単位の修得は難しい。交通機関の大幅な遅れ（証明書を提出）、インフルエンザなどの法定伝染病（診断書を提出）、忌引きの場合のみ欠席を認めます。部活・サークル活動などの欠席は認めません。尚、今期は撮影監督のインタビュー集「マスターズ・オブ・ライト」で取り上げられている映画を何本か見る予定です。授業が始まる前に、同書を読んでおくことが望ましいです。
