Creating a play. Students develop their own opinion on materials and mediums of plays and performance, accumulate experience that supports their arguments.
The same as in the first semester, the class mainly features reading aloud, discussion and creating. The main literature used in class is about Japanese theater practices, but the requests of course participants can be taken into account. In the second semester, students create their works in groups or individually, with plan proposals and presentation based on their own postulates derived from discussion.

演劇をつくる。劇あるいは演劇の、素材ないし媒体に関して自分の意見を持ち、その議論の裏付けとしうる経験を積む。

春学期と同様、授業は主に、音読と議論、創作をもって進める。講読する文献は国内の演劇実践にまつわるものを中心に、履修者の需要も考慮する。議論に基づき、秋学期は学生各自が仮説に基づく企画立案とプレゼンを行ない、グループまたは個人での創作を行なう。
