The goal is to study critically the basic concepts of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts through several problems in the history of Western philosophy
By explaining various problems of philosophy, like sensitivity and intelligence, dualism, metaphysics, epistemology, perspectivism, expression and interpretation, language and sign, in a simple manner, this class prompts creative thinking about the meaning of these with another method. This leads to understanding the existence of body, essential to Body Expression and Cinematic Arts, and even the meaning of mind.

西洋哲学の歴史におけるいくつかの問題を通して、映像身体学にとって基本となるような概念を批判的に学ぶことを目指します。
The goal is to study critically the basic concepts of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts through several problems in the history of Western philosophy
この講義では、感性や知性、二元論、形而上学、認識論、遠近法主義、表現や解釈、言語や記号、などの哲学的な諸問題をわかり易く説明することを通して、これらの意義を改めて別の仕方で創造的に考えていく。これは、映像身体学科において欠くことのできない身体の存在についての、あるいは精神の意味についての理解へとつながっていく。
