As an introductory course for the first year, this class has been established to embody the philosophy of the College of Contemporary Psychology. The instructors for each class present a variety of topics with the aim of constructing a new "human science” to understand mind, body and image. Given these topics, students are required to express their original thoughts in their own words.
In view of the concepts of the College of Contemporary Psychology to construct a new "human science" of mind, body and image, instructors for each class present topics from their own specialty and field, so that students may organically connect with their subsequent university learning, providing the opportunity to form one’s own knowledge. Students summarize these findings in response sheet every week, ｍake an oral presentation In the final two class sessions, and submit a report.

初年次導入科目として、現代心理学部の理念を体現する本授業科目を設置している。心・身体・映像の知たる新たな「人間学」の構築をめざして，各授業担当教員が多様な発題をおこなう。受講者には、この多様な発題を受けて、自ら考え、その見解を、自らの言葉で表現することが求められる。
As an introductory course for the first year, this class has been established to embody the philosophy of the College of Contemporary Psychology. The instructors for each class present a variety of topics with the aim of constructing a new "human science” to understand mind, body and image. Given these topics, students are required to express their original thoughts in their own words.
担当教員は、新たな「人間学」の構築という現代心理学部の理念に鑑みつつ、自らの専門領域より発題をおこなう。受講者に、現代心理学のひろがりと面白さを自分なりに捉えていく契機を与える。毎回1時間程度の講義のあと、コーディネーターが司会をして質疑応答、残り時間で受講者はコメントペーパーを作成・提出する。学期末には、学生が全授業回から2回分のテーマを選んで自分なりに考察したことを発表するグループワークをおこない、さらにそのうちいずれか1回のテーマを選択して、最終レポートを提出する。
