【Course Objectives】

Students make use of fundamental learning skills acquired from university in Basic Seminar to learn about the various activities being developed in the practice of social welfare. This forms the basis for future studies in the Department of Social Work.

【Course Contents】

1) Classes 1 to 2 are conducted in a basic seminar class.
By sharing volunteer experiences during summer vacation assigned in Basic Seminar, students will understand the meaning and method of learning in the field.
2) Classes 3 to 13 are conducted as joint classes.
3) In Class 3, students learn about course structure and academic learning methods.
4) In Classes 3 to 13, full-time teachers of Department of Social Work lecture on their area of specialization.
5) Class 14 is a summary of the course in Basic Seminar.
