【Course Objectives】

This course will discuss different aspects and welfare needs of diversified modern families. We will understand the need of supporting the family and the significance of family welfare. Additionally, in this course we will capture the family in relation to the structure of society, and deepen the consideration of family principles.

【Course Contents】

The time when the family took child care and elderly care for a long time. However the welfare function of the family has declined due to the present-day trend toward nuclear family and small family, and various living problems have been highlighted.
In this course, we will confirm the changes in modern society and the transformation of the family. After that, we will take up various problems faced by modern families in the light of the family cycle and consider the reality and prospects of family welfare.
