【Course Objectives】

Based on the definition of social work (International Federation of Social Workers 2014), deeply understand the idea, value, target, scope, methodology, history, etc. of social work. In addition, understand the values and ethics of social work. By understanding the foundations of these social works, you will be interested in social issues and will be able to think about future career choices.

【Course Contents】

This is a course that corresponds to the certified social worker. Acquire the basic knowledge to study social work. Based on the Definition of SocialWork (IFSW2000, 2014), we will delve into the concept, philosophy, value, object, scope, method, role, etc. of social work. In addition, understand the values and ethics of social work.
In addition, by studying the social work education that the Faculty of Community Welfare aims for and its subject system, it is possible to think about the goals and directions of learning by oneself, and to think in connection with learning and practical training by area after the second year.
