In the Japanese society which advances to an aging society, many people often have multiple diseases. Therefore, it is important for social workers to get medical knowledge in the future. You should understand basic knowledge of medicine, social and mental function, body structure, and outline of various diseases and disorders required for social workers to perform social work and care management.
You should understand medical knowledge; the underlying knowledge is human embryology, anatomy and physiology. After your understanding this knowledge, I will briefly introduce cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory, digestive and urinary diseases. 高齢化社会へ進んで行く日本社会において，多くの人が複数の病気を併せ持つことが多くなる．そのため，社会福祉士における医学的な知識の必要性は，今後さらに増加していくであろう．社会福祉士がソーシャルワークやケアマネジメントを行う上で必要となる医学の基本的な知識，心身機能と身体構造及び様々な疾病や障害の概要について理解する．
