【Course Objectives】

Students will learn the theory and practice of social work related to supporting people with mental disabilities and mental health issues, and will be able to understand the underlying perspectives and values.

【Course Contents】

(1) To introduce theories and core concepts of social work necessary to support people with mental disabilities and mental health issues.
(2) The perspectives, values, and philosophies that form the foundation of social work will be explained in connection with practice.
(3) The class will then proceed in a way that students can acquire a way to understand people and society based on social work expertise by assuming specific situations and role-playing along the development process of the case.
The class will be conducted with discussions among students as needed.
