Students will learn the theory and practice of social work related to supporting people with mental disabilities and mental health issues, and will be able to understand the underlying perspectives and values.
(1) To introduce theories and core concepts of social work necessary to support people with mental disabilities and mental health issues.
(2) The perspectives, values, and philosophies that form the foundation of social work will be explained in connection with practice.
(3) The class will then proceed in a way that students can acquire a way to understand people and society based on social work expertise by assuming specific situations and role-playing along the development process of the case.
The class will be conducted with discussions among students as needed.

精神障がいをもつ人やメンタルヘルスの課題をもつ人の支援に関するソーシャルワークの理論と実際を学び，基盤となる視点，価値観を理解することができる。
Students will learn the theory and practice of social work related to supporting people with mental disabilities and mental health issues, and will be able to understand the underlying perspectives and values.
（１）ソーシャルワーカーの基盤となる視点や価値・理念について実践と結びつけ、説明する。
（２）精神障がいやメンタルヘルスの課題をもつ人の支援に必要なソーシャルワークに関連する理論や中核的な概念を紹介する。
（３）そのうえで事例の展開過程に沿って具体的場面を想定し、ロールプレイを行うことで、ソーシャルワークの専門性に基づく人や社会を理解する方法が身につくように授業を進める。
以上について、随時学生同士のディスカッションやロールプレイを取り入れて授業を進めるので、主体的に参加するようにしてください。
本授業は精神保健福祉士国家試験受験のための科目ですが、社会福祉士を目指す人も含めて、ソーシャルワークに関する理論、スキルを学びたい人、精神障がいやメンタルヘルスの課題をもつ人や家族への支援に関心のある人を歓迎する。
