【Course Objectives】

There are three goals of this class.
First, to understand the recent trends in Forensic Socialwork and the mechanisms of various systems.
Secondly, as a social worker, to fully understand the concept of who and for what welfare support is provided to those released from prison.
Finally, students will acquire the basics to be able to provide support for released persons in collaboration with multiple organizations and multiple professions in the clinical welfare field.

【Course Contents】

The following topics will be covered in this class.
How are criminals sentenced and how do they return to their communities? What problems do so-called "released persons" face? We will deepen our understanding of the welfare support that may be necessary for them to return to their communities, as well as the people and institutions responsible for that support.
