【Course Objectives】

Systematically understanding the various issues that occur in the real world related to fundamental issues such as human rights, social justice, human dignity and advocacy that are the foundation of social work.
The purpose of this lecture is to draw abstract concepts into concrete examples, and for students to express in their own words, what rights are, what kind of rights are violated, and who can protect the rights of users etc.

【Course Contents】

Based on a basic understanding of rights, I will introduce the specific social backgrounds where advocacy is required, and confirm the image of users who are the subject of social work. In addition, we will learn about the current status and issues in the rights advocacy system, and in the adult guardianship system, while learning the structure of potential abuses that are likely, along with the mechanisms and solutions in instances of abuse. In addition, lectures by guest speakers are planned, so that students can deepen their understanding of practical approaches and issues.
