Understanding the lives and challenges of people with mental disorders, while considering the relationship between knowledge of mental health and welfare support, and other skills related disciplines, the aim is to acquire practical knowledge of skills related to counseling support required by social workers, so as to establish a system based on principles.
This class is a requirement for the National Examination for Mental Health Social Workers, and students wishing to take “Fieldwork in Mental Health Social Work" should attend. In conjunction with practical training, by highlighting counseling support case-studies with coordination and cooperation with medical care that provided integrated and inclusive counseling support, students will hypothesize on specific support situations, with classes developing in seminar format through individual and group guidance.

精神保健福祉援助の知識と技術に係る他の科目との関連性も視野に入れつつ，精神障害がある人の生活や生活上の困難について把握し，ソーシャルワーカーに求められる相談援助にかかわる知識と技術について実践的に習得するとともに，理念として体系立てていくことを目標とします。

本科目は「精神保健福祉援助実習」を履修することを希望し，選考された学生が受講する精神保健福祉士国家試験受験のための必修科目です。実習と並行して，総合的かつ包括的な相談援助，医療と協働・連携する相談援助事例を取り上げ，具体的な援助場面を想定しながら，個別指導・集団指導を通し演習形式で授業を展開します。
