[Social Researcher]
This subject is equivalent to Social Researcher Certification Course A , and is an introductory part of the related subject. Taking this course with Research Methods 1, Course B will enable students to master the basics of social research.
In this class, we explain the basic knowledge related to the meaning, background, and methods of social research to students who are looking to study social research in earnest in the future. We explain various social research methods, data collection and analysis processes, the history of social researches, and research ethics, taking actual examples of researches into account. At the same time, the objective of the course is for students to acquire the ability to interpret data from existing qualitative and quantitative surveys.

・ゼミや卒業研究で調査を行う際の前提となる知識を習得する。
【社会調査士】
本科目は社会調査士A科目に相当し、関連科目の導入編となっている。B科目「リサーチ・デザイン」（2023年度以降入学者対象）、「リサーチ方法論１」（2022年度以前入学者対象）と併せて履修することで、社会調査の基礎を習得することができる。但し、社会調査士は、コミュニティ政策学科学生のみ申請可能である。

本授業では、これから社会調査を本格的に学ぶ学生を対象に、社会調査の意義・背景・方法に関わる基本的知識を解説する。授業では、さまざまな社会調査の手法やデータ収集・分析のプロセス、社会調査の歴史と調査倫理などについて、調査の実例を紹介しながら説明する。あわせて、既存の質的調査・量的調査のデータを読み解く力を身に付けることを目的とする。
In this class, we explain the basic knowledge related to the meaning, background, and methods of social research to students who are looking to study social research in earnest in the future.
